Innopares starts a new network project REDIE: Ibero-American Alliance on Digital Ethics and Educational AI (626RT0201), as part of an international effort aimed at promoting a responsible, fair and transparent use of artificial intelligence in higher education. REDIE brings together universities, multilateral organisations and specialised entities from across Ibero-America with the goal of understanding, analysing and improving digital practices at a time when artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we learn, teach and manage knowledge. Innopares' participation strengthens this mission by contributing expert insight in educational evaluation and in the development of tools that ensure the quality and sustainability of learning processes.

The REDIE project, funded by CYTED, will be developed over four years with activities ranging from empirical studies to the development of training resources, including workshops, seminars, expert panels and international meetings. In this context, Innopares takes on a key role linking innovation with methodological rigour. Through the preparation of annual monitoring and evaluation reports, our organisation will enable the consortium to measure its progress objectively, identify areas for improvement and make well-founded strategic decisions. This work will be essential to ensure that the network maintains its internal coherence and that the actions developed effectively address the ethical challenges posed by educational AI.

In addition to its evaluative role, Innopares actively contributes to the sustainability of the project, offering recommendations that help guide its growth beyond the funding period. This contribution includes identifying collaboration opportunities, articulating continuity strategies and strengthening knowledge transfer mechanisms among partners. Innopares also provides a placement space for a researcher from the network, fostering professionalisation and applied learning in a real-world environment where ethics and innovation are integrated in a practical and strategic way.

Participation in REDIE represents for Innopares an opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to an educational transformation grounded in ethical principles, digital equity and continuous improvement. By working alongside leading Ibero-American institutions, we strengthen our vision of a people-centred artificial intelligence that contributes to academic development, institutional strengthening and social well-being. Over the coming years, we will share progress, learning and resources generated by this project, with the conviction that collaboration, evidence and ethics are indispensable pillars for building a more humane, responsible and inclusive educational future.
