The PROTECTWomen project aims to prevent psychological violence and coercive control against women at higher risk, including young women under 30, women with disabilities or health problems, non-heterosexual women, and migrants.
Activities: focus on the development of a continuing professional development (CPD) program with testing in Greece, Romania, Spain, and Lithuania, as well as a gender-focused awareness campaign:
- Development of a continuing professional development (CPD) program for social services professionals:
- Creation of training materials adapted to different national contexts.
- Implementation on an e-learning platform.
- National pilot training in Greece, Romania, Spain, and Lithuania, with 40 professionals per country.
Awareness campaign with a gender focus:
- Awareness-raising and dissemination materials (videos, website, key messages).
- National workshops with at least 200 participants in total.
- Consultations with stakeholders to strengthen cooperation.

Increased public awareness of coercive control as a form of gender-based violence.
